“Walk the Vision”

 

Friends of the West Valley Recreation Corridor (WVRC) invite you to join us for a 2-mile trek within the riverbed! Come experience the vision of the Agua Fria/New River Recreation Corridor as you walk or ride your horse along the future trail  

 

Walk the Vision 2007 is a FREE event. Participants will enjoy a continental breakfast and have an opportunity to visit exhibit booths located in the Cabela’s parking lot and along the trail.

8:30am – Opening Remarks and Start

Continental Breakfast and Exhibit Booths to follow the Walk

Walkers will enjoy a 2-mile trek from Glendale Avenue to Camelback Road along the riverbed. Shuttle busses will return walkers to Cabela's.

Equestrians: Registration will be located at Bethany Home Rd and 107th Ave. The trail is a 6-mile loop traveling north along the riverbed to Northern Ave, south to Camelback Rd and returning to Northern Ave.
